Two Different Generation

           After years, generation change, and there improvement. There a big different between my parent generation and my generation. As time passed, many things has improve, such as technology, styles, look, and color. What I mean by look and color is that as before most parent has the same nationality but now most parent are mixed which make many of the kids nationality are mix, which you can tell by their look what nationality they really are.

         One of the different between my parent and my generation is that back in the day, many people don't have computer to find information for school and they will always has to go to the library. In my parent generation there no phone and barely have T.V and in my generation the technology improve and now we have phone such as Galaxy S4 and Iphone 5 and even computer to look for information.


       Now there even internet, where you can play game, read, and explore the world. Back in the day, there are no internet, which most people have to look in newspaper for information. Also before there are many wars and disease. Many of people died from disease because back in the day there are no vaccine to prevent all this disease, but now in my generation, there are hundred of vaccine everyone could get when we young to prevent sickness.

       Lastly, the different is fashion or style of clothes. Back in the day the fashion is not really pretty and really uncomfortable. Also the clothes are long and big, which not showing skin, but in my generation, we design clothes that are good looking and comfortable to wears.

        These are the different between my parent generation and my generation technology, style, and nationality.

         

What do I like about myself?

                   I believe that no one in the world would want to hate themselves. I think that there has to be a good reason why a person hate themselves. For me, I love myself, I'm glad that I am me, and proud to be me. Some people might hate themselves. For example, maybe they got bully or even being the least favorite of the family.

               What I like most about myself?. Well One of the things I like about myself is that my face is smooth, I don't get pimple. In my family line there no one ever have pimple. my mom and my sister both never have pimple. I'm glad I don't have it because I saw most of my friend who have pimple, it painful and make their face oily.

              One of another thing I like about myself is that I'm good at remembering. Every time I study, I remember things really quick because when I was little my parent always woke me up early in the morning around 5:00 am.

             One thing I want to improve is my grades. I want to get a better grade in my Physics class. I have to get either A or B. I also want to get good on the test so that my grade could improve. 


            The last things I want to improve is getting a good score on S.A.T test. I want to get into a good college. I want to get in to I.U.P or Penn State. Improving my S.A.T score will make me get into either one of these two college.

          
 
                    

2012-2013 school years

 

School can fun and also bored and tiring, but my school years from 2012 to 2013 was fun but upsets . I made a lot of friends and also get to learn many fun things. I also get go join my more activity that I haven't join before. I join badminton team. The happy part is I get to be the co-captain of the team. Recently i was so proud of myself because i get in the National Honor Society.

In 2012 which is my sophomore year, I have so much fun because I have a lot of classes with my friends. I made new friends that were also same grade as me and some friends who is junior. That time i have Public Speaking, American History, Ell exp 3, Geometry Honor, Ell 4, and social issue, but in February 2012 two of my class change from Public Speaking to Foundation of Education and  American History to Chemistry.

Class get a little harder. I kind of get to experience college in my chemistry class because my teacher teach really fast like college teacher.

Nearly 2013 I get in the speak competition with my friend. My friend represent our school and I represent ELL. It was a great experience. Even though we didn't win, we are happy that we get to experience it. The people who did not win get a check for $25 and a certificate that show that they were in the speech competition. 

In 2013, I get really mad at first because I was suppose to be out of ELL and go to regular English since  September 2012, beginning of the years. The school district just send the letter that said " Dara Chhun was out of Ell since September 2012". I go to the office and the teacher just tell me give her the paper and she will put me in regular class, but she forget it, so I have to take the test again to get out of ELL. 

My school years from 2012-2013 wasn't was bad after all. While writing this make me remember many things. It help me get to feel the old time once again. Life will always change but memories will always be with me forever. So don't forget the tough time that you have been going through and that will have you when u face a bigger problem. It will help you solve it.

My school need better police officer

Have you ever wonder why students always us phone in class and the hallway? And have you ever wonder why student didn't follow rule?. In my opinion, i think that the main cause is come from police officer and teacher.

My reasons is that in my school, i saw many students in the hallway talking on phone, listening to music, and texting and they never got their phone taken. The main point is that the police officer saw those students but they never say anything. This is why we really need new officer. Sometime the officer is unfair. They never say anything to the student who born here but they always look after the ESOL students and trying to get to them in trouble. I hate it now they look at Esol student like we do something wrong. The way i see it in their eye looking at us is like looking at a thief. Therefore i want a new police officer. I feel bad for my teacher because she trying to protect us but get in trouble because of us. I want her to know that we will always be by her side no matter what.

Don't move to the U.S

  Dear Sophea,    

     Should you come to the U.S? In my opinion, I suggest that you should not come

to the U.S. Many people come to the U.S because they think about money, jobs, and

education. They think that if they could go to a better school, they will get good jobs and better

pay, but this is always not true.

       I think that you should not come to the U.S because it’s not really good to get education

here. In the U.S, many people make mistakes by going to college because they need a lot of

money to pay for their lesson. If they don’t have money, they have to take loan money and pay

when they finish college and find jobs. The problem is that they might not able to find jobs or

they don’t get accepted. Therefore this makes them in debt.

       There are also many Americans who are racist about Asians in the U.S. They treat many Asians

badly. They sometimes say “you don't belonging here. Go back to your country.” This hurts our

feelings. They have many stereotypes about Asians. Sometimes its good but sometime its bad. This

one person in my class says all Asian are lazy.

      The bad thing about living in the U.S is that you can not stay out late if you’re under 18 years

old. You have to be home before 9 p.m. If the police see you, they will catch you and call your

parents. Importantly, if you want to work when you still in school, you also have to be 18 or

older in order to work. There are not many jobs for 15 or 16 year olds.

      The most important point is that the U.S is really dangerous in some place. You might get

raped, kidnapped, or killed easily.  In the U.S, homicide is the one of the biggest issues. There

could be a shooting or rape once every six hour. Overall these are the reason why you should

not come to the U.S.

IS IT OK FOR YOUNGER MAN TO DATE OLDER WOMEN?

    In my opinion, I think that sometimes it's right and sometimes it's wrong.

What I mean is that it depends on both the older women and the younger men.If the older woman doesn't do anything with the problem, how can they end up together? This means that they might have agreed to be with each other. This might be how the older lady ended up with the younger man.

In many cultures, young men dating older women is wrong in their belief. Many people think that young men who date older women are doing so

mostly because of money. All around the world even though guys

don’t care about what people say, most of them still don’t want to date older

women. They could find younger women, but if they would rather date

older women it's because they want something from her. This is really wrong,but it's also right because maybe that is what the older woman wants, so it is fine for her to give the young man her money if she want to.

In some case young dating older women is OK.Young men think that

older women look sexier than the women their age because the women their age still have a kids body and not sexy like the older women. This depends on what the young men think. For women, they know that young men are handsome and hot. They would want to show off. Many women think that if they date young men, people would think that even though their age is old, they are still pretty and good enough to date young guys.

Many young men date either younger women or older women, whichever

they are comfortable with. So, this is fine for younger men and older women  to date if they both like or love each other. After all it's mostly OK for younger men to date older women. So, in my opinion it's OK for younger men to date older women. I also think that they have  to decide.

Is Violence Ever Justified?

        In my opinion, I think it depends. There are many reasons for violence to be justified and many reasons why it's not. Mostly it is not justified. Muhammad Ali said, "There are more pleasant things to do than beating  up people." Violence could be justified if it's for self-defense but violence is not justified if that person was just angry.

        The case in which violence is justified is to protect oneself. For example, if Tara trying to hit or hurt Delay, Delay has the right to hit back, and event though Tara hurt him really badly, it's still not Delay fault because if Tara hadn't hit Delay in the first place the whole thing wouldn't have happened.

      The case in which violence is not justified is when one person just talks badly about you. For a relationship maybe that person just jealous, so they talk negatively over and over. If you use violence because of that, it is not justified. It is really cheap to use violence over a little reason like jealousy.
